A vital aid crossing, called the Kerem Shalom border crossing in Gaza was closed due to rocket fire targeting Israeli soldiers. Hamas took responsibility for the rocket attack as Israeli's saw rockets fired from Rafah. Humanitarian support into Gaza was closed after a missile attack said by Hamas, killed three soldiers of the Israeli military. Israel fired back with an attack on a house in Rafah said, killing at least three Palestinians. Israel’s army witnessed 10 rockets were shot from Rafah in southern Gaza towards the zone of the Kerem Shalom crossing. The crossing was closed, but other crossings stayed open. The armed group of Hamas said it fired missiles at an Israeli army base next to the crossing, but did not say where it fired them from. Hamas media said a source close to the group as saying the commercial crossing was not the target. Israel’s military army said it was thinking Hamas was picking out soldiers on the Gaza border in sight of an offensive Rafah attack. Hamas said it doesn't use civilians as human targets.

Close to midnight, an Israeli air attack killed nine Palestinians, including a baby, in a house in Rafah, Gaza health officials said. They said the new attack made the death toll go up on Sunday to at least 19 people.
