Oh god, did Campbell read the book? I hope Brash wins, and Campbell gets gaoled on contempt of court or etc Brian | (Talk) | New Zealand Portal 08:48, 21 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

According to the definition of an injunction you are not allowed to supply the emails to anyone - the author supplied it to TV3. But I hope, unlike you, that TV3 (Canwest) is able to retract the injunction. --Nzgabriel | Talk 09:22, 21 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
It's worth noting that the e-mails used in the book are probably a very small sub-set of the ones ilegally obtained from Dr Brash's computer system. Only one person knows how many were copied, but it could be thousands. And while it is unfortunate he injunction may be seen as trying to block this book, it was justified to bring an end to the constant threats from Winston and Helen to reveal bits and pieces at their discretion over the next couple of years. You can't allow that to stay hanging over you. I would even advocate having them all published now is preferable to the uncertainty of leaving Winston free to release them on his timetable.
