- Spokesman Ian Johnson gave the following prepared statement: "Does it make sense that Vestas should be closed and the green ecology so beloved of this government should be transported here from the far corners of the world? The only sensible demand is for the nationalisation of the entire energy industry."
- When asked for a message for the occupiers, he said, "the occupiers have our full support"
