first name

Indians do not always have a first name-family name pair. A single given name and initials (standing for place of origin, father's name or sometimes family/community) are common. Incidentally, Yahoo india reports his name as A. Saryanarayana, not K. as we've reported here, needs to be fixed. Doldrums 18:56, 29 April 2006 (UTC)
