This template is now deprecated, as there are better ways to do what it does.
This template is for use on the talk page of templates that are preloaded into the editbox. For example https://en.wikinews.org/w/index.php?title=foo_bar_baz&preload=template:New_page&action=edit preloads template:New page into the editbox.
Historically, we could not add documentation or categories to these templates, as <noinclude> sections were still included into the edit box. So we added it to the talk page.
Now, instead, we can instead categorize the template itself into category:Preload templates, using <noinclude>.
This template can take two parameters. Both are unnamed, and are pages that have preload links in question. The preferred way to handle that now is via {{hidden use}}.
