Contradiction with the policies

After getting re-elected earlier this year with 331 seats in parliament, the conservative party promised a huge number of reforms and policies but making airstrikes against IS in Syria was never a part of those promises as published in an article by BBC[1]. Speaking of long term strategy it still doesn't seems fruitful. While making a call for anti-IS strikes in Syria, allies should keep in mind the collateral damages these strikes can cause, which is also a violation of Human Rights. A huge number of civilians are still trapped in areas under IS control. Apart from these facts before making a call for airstrikes parliament should consider Jeremy Corbyn's(Leader of the UK's opposition Labour Party) statement that it is not sure that airstrikes will eliminate the threat completely and these airstrikes can trigger terrorist attacks in UK[2].
