Read the leak. There's nothing in it that will "endanger countless lives" any more than they already are. There's no "top secret government information." It's just powerful men talking about unattractive things. The only things the leak endangers is the popularity of the diplomats involved. There are no secret government codes or blueprints of secure facilities. There are no details of top-secret security operations. The government is just trying to save its face--trying to save its face in front of corrupt, foreign governments. Obama should have supported the leak and said, "yes, this is how the world runs today, and we don't like it." A government founded on an ideal and which exists through hypocrisy. Disappointing, to say the least.

I just can't wait to see which country responds seriously first. There is some large allegations in there, especially about Iran and North Korea. I'm not really worried about the US, I just hope they up their Intelligence game, they sure are sloppy.
