Well since The New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures is the offcial bible that Jehovah's Witnesses use, it should be considered that most likely Mark Ruge and the watchtower.org would be quoting from the New World translation. That is why I considered it more Factually accurate to change the quote to original text from the translation that the group would have been using. Also it is unclear what exact page Mark Ruge directed the reporters to but on the Watchtower.org, the offcial site of Jehovah's Witnesses, but on the issue of blood there is this article http://www.watchtower.org/e/hb/index.htm?article=article_07.htm and if you scroll down some it eventually quotes the scripture in question and uses the same text I used.--Darthbudge
- Right well i looked at the first news source [1] and on the second page here it shows the original text before you changed. You may be correct with your changes but as the other quoted news sources have used the pre-change quote then that is the one that should be used in my opinion. Also you are more likely to get a response if you leave your response on my talk page. It can be found be cliking on my name and then on the discussion tab. - Is there any possibility of the original notes or any other sources that are different to the Canada.com report that i could see??--Markie 20:14, 2 February 2007 (UTC)
I have not found any other news sources that quote it but it says clearly in the Canada.com source it says that Mark Ruge directed the reporters to the Jehovah's Witnesses website watchtower.org. And the link I posted above clearly quotes the scripture in the same manner that I did. I view this to higher source because this is the site that the reporters should have been quoting from because that is where they were directed and shown the scripture.--Darthbudge 20:42, 2 February 2007 (UTC)
IMO, the bible reading from watchtower.org should be used in this article. —FellowWikiNews (W) (sign here!) 02:29, 3 February 2007 (UTC)
Your account will be renamed[edit]
Hello,
The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. This will let us give you new features that will help you edit and discuss better, and allow more flexible user permissions for tools. One of the side-effects of this is that user accounts will now have to be unique across all 900 Wikimedia wikis. See the announcement for more information.
Unfortunately, your account clashes with another account also called Darthbudge. To make sure that both of you can use all Wikimedia projects in future, we have reserved the name Darthbudge~enwikinews that only you will have. If you like it, you don't have to do anything. If you do not like it, you can pick out a different name.
Your account will still work as before, and you will be credited for all your edits made so far, but you will have to use the new account name when you log in.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Yours,
Keegan Peterzell
