Writing an arcticle[edit]
When writing an article please follow the guidlines in Wikinews:Writing an article. Don't just create one line summary's on portals. If it is about a topic please use the apropriate category. (i.e. if its an article about Ayyavazhi please tag it with [[Category:Ayyavazhi]] and [[category:religion]]. that way the portals are automaticly updated. Thank you, and welcome to wikinews. Image[edit]
Images that people created have to go on Wikimedia commons (by decree of the wikimedia foundation). This is so all projects can use them. Would you consider picking a license that commons accepts, ( {{PD-self}} {{CC-BY}} are good choices) and uploadeing it to commons, please. (commons:Special:upload)

portal for deletion[edit]
User divol (I think) put it up for deletion because he feels it has been used for religious promotion. Ussually We only put articles on the portal if theres a big article, this allows for neutrality, the way this portal has only one-line summarys may be one of the contributing factors. please see WN:DR#Portal:Bah.C3.A1.27.C3.AD_Faith_and_Portal:Ayyavazhi. - If you whish for the portal to be kept, ask the voters at dr what steps they feel would be required to turn it into something acceptable at wikinews. Bawolff ☺☻image:smile.png 23:22, 13 March 2006 (UTC)
- Actually its already been deleted. If you feel that you would be able to make it into something that is acceptable to the general population of wikinews users , you can launch an undeletion request explaining that you are willing to address the issues with it. That would probally work. Bawolff ☺☻
