"World Ends" prepared story - Creator's Rationale (of sorts)[edit]

I didn't actually mean this as a joke - it was created under the "prepared stories" category - like the obituaries for the people who haven't yet died. I thought it might be fun, yeah, but there was also serious message: The World's going to end one day! In fact, summed over all humna history, this is probably the most-predicted major World event... ever.

And arguably, it's no sillier than the other "prepared stories". I vote for re-instatement, as the Prepared Story that is eternally "prepared" but never quite finished.

Speaking for myself, I don't question its possibility nor its (semi) legitimacy. However, what I'm concerned about is that if the world ends, it will have been too late for us to publish it. Anyways, what I would do is bring it up to the bottom Undeletion portion of Wikinews:Deletion requests and request for an undeletion there. I wish the best of luck to you. —THIS IS MESSEDOCKER (TALK) 00:42, 19 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

Not paradoxical[edit]

I don't agree that this story can never be finished. It's entirely possible, and to be hoped, that before planet Earth becomes uninhabitable, the Wikimedia Foundation will have moved its servers off-planet. Seahen 02:20, 21 August 2006 (UTC)Reply
