Anonymous White House sources say that U.S.PresidentGeorge W. Bush will likely give a special news briefing on the subject of Iran. Sources say that the press conference is scheduled to be held within a week and it will be officially announced in short notice. Other details about the rumored conference, such as what exactly will be discussed, are unknown.
One possibility is that Bush will deviate yet again from the expected theme at an already-scheduled function; on June 14, Bush addressed a Future Farmers of America (FFA) group at Penn State, but spoke mostly about Social Security instead of agricultural issues.
