It’s not only because of Prophet Mohammed but also because of obnoxious images of current ""Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and the leader of the opposition (in Bangladesh)”" they banned facebook….what a shame.
There are only 556,000 internet users in Bangladesh, I doubt that this is affecting THAT many people. However I do not like the idea that "anti-religious and offensive" material is good means for blocking access to a website, and I feel that it goes against United Nations Internet resolution regarding people having free access to information.
