Why are their first intentions to police the world? Albeit this is a pretty serious issue...it just kind of worries me at the same time that they have this holier than thou attitude immidiately and world government is all they see themselves as.
And besides...every country "manipulates" its currency. Currency is an illusion, created in human minds. It is not real, like a rock or a tree, no its in our heads, for us humans to use. Therefor every aspect of it is "manipulated". Our monetary system is screwed up period, no matter what country you are. It all needs to be scrapped, and replaced with a new method of survival. Geithner said China is manipulating their economy? Why doesn't Geithner look at the privately owned Federal Reserve and let it be known that the Federal Reserve is manipulating the U.S. currency.
The U.S. Gov't has no say in the financial dealings of the U.S. It's under the PRIVATELY owned Federal Reserve. They are the cause of the troubles our economy is in.
SVT Cobra, a economy is manipulated by the printing of money which cause inflation because it is not backed by anything. In the U.S. currency was backed by gold up until 1971.
The other major thing that can be manipulated is the interest rates. Lowering interest rates also cause inflation.
Also lowering interest rates also made it too easy to get credit, which led up to the current crash of the U.S. economy.
Go check out I.O.U.S.A. on Youtube. It explains it pretty well.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 76.241.69.196 (talk • contribs)
