Not sure where your from, due to blatant racism im going to say US, but if you look at france in terms of quality of life, green power or protesting, then its doing much better than most countries. Yeah those silly French, protesting negative things like the oppressive, tyrannical, and just plain stupid PRC government and its human rights abuses. Why don't they protest positive things for a change like freedom of speech or intellectual freedom? Oh wait, I forgot the PRC's government thinks those things are negative. My bad. I find that it is unneccessary that everyone is tampering with the general meaning of the games and combining athletics with politics. Why on earth though, did the Olympic Commitee decide to let China host it, given the poor quality of the air in Beijing? I also read somewhere that people tested the chicken there, and there was such a high steroid content that an athlete who was tested after eating them would test positive for steroids. The foolish anti-china sentiment does nothing for the cause of those trying to reduce the ethnic driven chaos that consumes the region of Tibet. It instead casts their own group as nothing more than hoodlums and childish pranksters. This is the fault of the separatists, the majority of whom have never seen Tibet and are following whims of foreign powers seeking to subjugate China once again. Tibet is a lawful part of PRC. It has been a part of China longer than it was ever independent. Even more than the Catalan people are Spanish, Tibetans are Chinese. I am curious why French didn't protest the torch relay when it was created,oh I forgot that was Nazi Germany did it first and I don't think French dared to do so then. Ask your athlete to quit Olympic first before your protest.
