"reveal ignorance and racism as well as a cheap attempt to woo pro-Israeli voters at the expense of Palestinian rights and peace in the region."

Whatever they are, Palestinians are not a "race", therefore this cannot be racism.

"Race", As you would have it is an scientifically invalid concept and is in fact a social construct based on ethnic identity and sociocultural perceptions of supposed morphological characteristics within a particular nation-state. It could just as easily be argued for the same reasons that "Israelis" are an invented people. Im sure many would argue that such remarks are equally racist and/or anti-semitic. No doubt you've heard terms such as "Jewish race" and "semitic-race" bandied about both by supporters and opponents when referring to Israelis. If Israelis can be considered a "race" as such, I cannot discern ant logical hurdles to prevent Palestinians from being categorized as the same.

You should stand for the Republican candidacy! You've far-better demolished Gingrich's argument than any of his opponents.

Sadly, this only reflects the fact than none have Newt's opponents have actually attempted to demolish his argument on this matter. Whomever wins the Rebublican Party nomination you can rest assured they will make it a priority to support aggressive Israeli settlement expansion at the expense of any chance of a future for the Palestinan people. The reigns of U.S. foreign policy are held in no small part by Tel aviv.
