What does: '1.5 times lower' mean?

Explaining prices like this seems confusing and silly to me.

Sounds like they will GIVE you money equal the price of an iPad ( 1-(2x1) = -1 ). Why not say "half the price of the iPad" if that is what is meant? 144.32.89.120 (talk) 12:27, 8 September 2010 (UTC)
