Most everyone knows Rush Limbaugh makes his money making inflamitory remarks. It is a staple of his stock and trade. For this reason his opinion is discounted by many people. To refer to someone as a prostitute implies they sell themselves. There are many ways a person sells themselves besides sexually. Some sell their dignity, some there honesty. Some sell their character and reputation. When one person sells all what are they but an empty shell. To disrespect another's opinion is unjust. To discount it means it has no relevance to you in your life. You toss it aside. To not have an opinion is perhaps the saddest situation of all.

Sandra Fluke is undoubtedly a strong and intelligent woman. I am proud to have her speaking on behalf of all women. Women's health has always been a hot topic, and there will always be those who oppose it because of their religious beliefs. Those beliefs shouldn't keep Americans from having accessible health care. I am disgusted by the personal attacks on Sandra and I can't imagine how diffult this fight has been for her. Rush Limbaugh is an unprofessional sexist pig. I'm glad to see that his personal mud-slinging hasn't slackened Sandra's determination to be heard. Clearly he is living in another century if he thinks that name-calling will keep women in their place.
Thank you for your most interesting comment, especially the part about living in another century, the behavior certainly is a bit anachronistic.
Angelica Houston and Rosie pretty much summed it up lastnight on Piers Morgan. America is heading back to archaic times where men decide what is best for women. Can someone explain how we are backtracking on woman's lib 40 years after its been firmly established? all I can think of is Romania during Nicolae Ceaușescu's reign and the deplorable conditions of orphanges bursting at the seams with unwanted children and infants( that often died from failure to thrive) because of his ban on birth controll and abortion. America is turning into a communist Romania, and I am sad to be a Canadian attached to it.
Funny. You said that you are "disgusted by attacks made towards Sandra Flucke", but then you turn right around and attack Rush Limbaw. Did you know that Bill Mar called Brystal Palen the "CU" word as refered to women, but I don't see you calling him a "sexist pig". What kind of double standard are you playing at? You haven't been a single bit fare towards both sides. Please take your remarks somewhere else
If you call Rush Limbaw a "unprofessional sexist pig",than that puts you on the level of a Bias, left-wing, ignorant piece of junk. Two can play at the labeling game. "Do onto others as you would have others do onto you."
A person using the subject "Comments From Feedback Form "Sandra Fluke Is A ..."". In the middle of the comment, this person called Rush Limbaw a "unproffessional sexist pig". Please read the comment and reply back telling me that you've read it. Thank you and have a good day.
My idea of a strong Independent woman is one who does not go to Uncle Sugar Daddy asking for someone else to pay for her birth control. What else does she expect? Money for dinner and couple of drinks, maybe cab fare? Color me unimpressed by anyone, male or female, who at the age of thirty expects to be taken care of by someone else. Everyone objects to the words slut and prostitute, when they are fairly irrelevant to the situation. Try the word serf, selling their freedom and their votes to Social Democrats who are paying for them with the money of others. Calling her and her supporters prostitutes insults woman who actually provide something of value for the money they receive.
And even if I had not read about them, you have conveniently provided links. Except that Polycystic ovarian cancer leads to a page stating that Wikipedia does not have an article Polycystic ovarian cancer, try Ovarian Cancer. Indeed why don’t we discuss the increased breast cancer, coronary disease, and deep vein thrombosis that are also associated with the use of contraceptives. Bet that medical argument becomes irrelevant real quick for you.
And it has nothing to do with the claim that Sandra Fluke is anything other than an Anti Roman Catholic Bigot begging Uncle Sugar to force, at the point of a gun, people to conform to her, and no doubt your, ideology. And who is 30 years and can’t seem to take care of herself. All the while coming from a fairly well off back ground. If the argument is that medical conditions that can be treated by birth control in some cases make should make it mandatory for all woman to be provided birth control, well, that has nothing to do with your argument about Sandra Fluke. Besides, it is a straw man argument. In a case where a doctor determines there is a medical need for the prescription other than birth control, it is covered. As well, any medical condition which might occur could then be used to justify the Government to say you must provide all of your employees with Medical Insurance because they may get (insert Latin name for any medical condition here). Which in fact is an argument before the Supreme Court right now. None of which addresses the issue that the President cannot implement a tax on his own, which is what he is trying to do. Nor does it change the fact that what is really going on is the Democrat Party is buying votes with candy that they expect others to pay for.
And the fact they, the Democrats, believe that there are enough human beings of voting age that are so incompetent at taking care of themselves and thus willing to sell their votes, and their liberty as free people, in exchange for some bennies, without considering the real cost to themselves is their Liberty. Serfs.
"Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety." Benjamin Franklin
If you go and research the quote it is exactly what Franklin was talking about. Giving up the responsibility of being a free person in order to obtain the safety and guarantees that a lord or master will provide for your needs deserves the bondage they end up in.
You're referring to only one form of birth control, but there are many others. And FYI, my apologies, the link should have been.
Yes I was referring to the form of birth control which some in the Medical community believe helps prevent Polycystic ovarian cancer and Endometriosis, or Menorrhagia. But again, your evading the point, likely because you know it does not excuse the idea that a "strong independent woman" demanding others take care of her is silly.
