Hasn't this already been stated in numerous studies on the subject? (well, perhaps not in such a broad scope as this one) 70.153.98.240 (talk) 02:05, 17 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

"According to a recent study, almost every kind of animal on Earth engages in homosexual behavior whether intentional or natural." I'd lolled hard on the last part.--KDP3 (talk) 05:15, 17 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You know what your mother always told you: "If an animal does it, you should too!" 206.74.5.136 (talk) 13:40, 17 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Many have tried, but only a few are obsessed enough to take up yoga so they can reach the parts that dogs lick. --Brian McNeil / talk 14:06, 17 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I'm sure somewhere on 4chan they have that video.--66.229.17.49 (talk) 16:25, 17 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Here is such a yoga class. --SVTCobra 22:34, 22 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The article does not define homosexual behavior beyond mounting, parenting, and courtship; did the researcher define homosexual behavior more extensively than that limited definition?

Moreover, an issue with the underlying study might be that the problem of the observer vs. the observed. What did the observed subjects think they were doing? Was this part of an ongoing social relationship in their view? We can't know the answer to these questions completely, as these are animals under study.

Is there some supposed link between animals and humans? I mean, why is this really interesting? Does this mean something to evolutionary biologists?

Yes. The link is that humans ARE animals. Wikidsoup (talk) 19:48, 17 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
"Is there a supposed link?" LOL
May it be that some humans are indeed vegetables as far as brain activity goes? -Alemaco (talk) 08:28, 18 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Study says nearly every species of animal engages in homosexual behavior[edit]

This is pretty much old-hat information that's been out for some time, now. Gay people have known this for quite some time, too. How about reporting something new?

And they discovered it, of course, through their universal homo-sense. --128.243.253.103 (talk) 05:44, 18 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
We call that 'gaydar', btw. 71.197.141.158 (talk) 06:48, 18 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
There are a number of variations on this technology and I find it somewhat uncomfortable that you neglected to mention such valuable extensions to the a-heterosexual (and, should a person outside this circle so wish for them to after installation) as: Yaoi and Yuri goggles, Seme vs Uke scripts, all manner of trap cannon, the various [w:Metasploit|metasploit] plugins for detection of trans~ variables and genderhacking, the use of the afore mentioned software for pen. testing (sorry for the terrible pun...), not forgetting of course the widely known (among certain circles) [w:redpill|Red pill / blue pill / green pill] choice. Also to the person who said bullshit: that wasn't very nice, swearing is bad kids, m'kay. <3 Unpure (talk) 19:52, 22 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

bullshit.
