Euro Disney SCA receives new CEO

Disney and Euro Disney SCA announced on Thursday that Euro Disney chief executive officer Andre Lacroix would step down and be replaced with Karl Holz immediately.

Holz has had a long career with Walt Disney Parks and Resorts. He has been president of the Disney Cruise Line and executive of operations at Walt Disney World. Holz was chief operating officer at Euro Disney before being promoted.

Euro Disney is Europe's largest theme park operator, and oversees Disneyland Resort Paris in Marne-la-Vallee, France. Disney is Euro Disney SCA's major share holder. Other share holders include the French government and a Saudi prince.
