Good luck to Erie County with FEMA. The Battery Park vicinity in Richmond, VA was dealt the one-two punch of Tropical Storm Ernesto, followed a week later by a nor'easter, both of which dumped a bucketful of rain causing porperty damgage... Assistance denied to Battery Park residents. -Edbrown05 06:52, 15 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

zThe related galleries were removed because of ads and becuase I think that advertising exclusive work from others not affiliated with Wikinews is somewhat copyvio. This is a Wikinews article and if the people/copyright holders with the other photos want them on here, then feel free to upload them to WIkinews :) Jason Safoutin 20:49, 15 October 2006 (UTC)Reply
Most of the observations in Delaware Park were made by myself and by images I caugght of the park. I also watched the news conference this afternoon with National grid.
I'm curious about what OR means... 16:04, 20 January 2007 (UTC -3)

Date bump?

[edit]

I will be having more pictures but have to upload them to computer then to Wikinews. Can the date be bumped when I do and can breaking stay until the likelyhood that images stop being taken. Thoughts? Jason Safoutin 20:42, 15 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Well, the way I see it, when you write an article, that's what it is, however, breaking had 'ought to stay until your pictures are complete. Thunderhead(talk) 00:13, 17 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

the october storm?

[edit]

I admit the october storm was eventful. I got married in a church with no electricity and lost heat in my home. Those pictures dont really do it justice. It was worse in the city than the pictures make it look. However I do not think it is worth metioning so much with no mention to our other major storms. The Blizzard of 77 was alot worse. Check out the Science Museum, they are celebrating the anniversiry. Also the storms of 98 I belive it was when we set a record for snowfall in 24 hours. Then the storm of Christmas 2001 and Nov of 2000 that left the whole city stranded.Im sure there was alot of significant weather in our 200 year history to cut down on the October storm. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 69.162.211.172 (talkcontribs) 07:00, 5 December 2006 (UTC)
