There are a number of problems with this article. First, the news is not relevant, as your most recent source is four years old. Can you find something on this topic that has been produced in the last month? Second, an increase in school performance is not necessarily an increase in IQ, that claim should be altered or removed.

I'm going to change the title of this article to make it more accurate. The current title seems like a statement of fact rather than a discussion about correlational/experimental data, although I'm not sure if this even belongs on Wikinews at all. --Wolfrider 02:35, 4 October 2005 (UTC)Reply

There's nothing new in this article. The article by C. Bernard Gesch appeared in a 2002 edition of the British Journal of Psychiatry. What may be new is the fact that "junk" is being "banned" in some schools. It may be interesting to describe why this is happening now, how people are reacting, whether the effect of this is being monitored, etc., but the article as it stands should return to being "under development". Perhaps this would be a better addition to Wikipedia? --Wolfrider 23:11, 4 October 2005 (UTC)Reply

Junk Food in Schools

[edit]

As a high school assistant principal with primary responsibities in dealing with student behavior, I am willing to try anything to eliminate disruptive behavior in our classrooms and hallways creating a safe learning environment for teaching and learning.

Where the hell did those w:quotation marks come from???? There is absolutely no reason for they to be there; they are dead wrong. It's w:Junk food, NOT "Junk" food. PLEASE remove this disgustingly incorrect punctuation. 76.248.244.232 16:39, 5 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Not done I do not see this as you do, regardless of what Wikipedia might use. Resubmit this request if you want another Admin to look at it. --SVTCobra 01:40, 29 October 2008 (UTC)Reply
