"Facts" change as a story develops
[edit]I consulted some more recent English language sources, and identified some factual problems with the story.
The crash happened on Tuesday, not Wednesday. The last major crash was in 2004 not 2005. And while early reports say that the plane overshot the runway, others said it landed prematurely[1], and it seems that recent reports are hedging by saying it "missed" the runway. Also 'cracked cabin' may not be the same as 'broke in two'.
This outcome leads me to suggest that it is unwise to translate a foreign Wikinews story and put it up for review, without doing some review oneself, and looking for more recent coverage.
