Big surprise. Quite predictable. Bush admin.types like this expected friction. Conflict is a "good thing" for globalists(justifies occupations, police state and "big brother" controls) and war profiteers. Paulrevere2005 12:05, 23 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I worked on this article last night and there was quite a bit of information from both sources detailing Bush administration pressure to "stick to the deadline", but I was too tired to keep including information. I had hoped someone else would continue developing this article. Perhaps you, Paul, would take a stab at it? --Chiacomo (talk) 14:38, 23 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]
America would never have worked if some other country had freed us from Great Britain..and especially if they had done it in 1726 instead of 1776.We were more fractured than Iraq is now and the only reason we made it is because we had to fight so hard to get our freedom there was no way we were gonna lose it. So we forced ourselves to work together. Eventually the Iraqi people could have done the same thing. All the factions come together for the common goal of kicking the Saddam monarchy out on its ass...Had a bloody revolution..and then have a free Iraq built on the blood of IRAQIS...NOT somebody else's blood! But the guys we elected didn't want that; to them Iraq was a nice little entrance to a permanent Middle Eastern military presence. Everybody knew before the invasion these 3 factions would not cooperate..that it would be constant upheaval and war. Colin Powell told Bush "If you break it; you'll own it"...and you can bet your last dollar that Bush knew it(knows it) too.He majored in world history(88%average on history courses) at Yale + I imagine his dad taught/told him a few things about Middle Eastern cultures...he knew(knows) exactly what to expect and the play is unfolding exactly on script. We are still in Afghanistan and they have nowhere near the complexity of cultures. We are in Iraq and will stay there as long as our globalist foreign policy people, headed by our President, want us there..and you can bet it'll be a whole lot longer than 10 years. So, in case you haven't figured it out yet, our side doesn't give a rat's ass about the Iraq constitution and it doesn't matter at all whether one is rammed through or not.Western governments and western oil companies are going to be controling Iraq oil flow and Western military bases will be there for a long, long time[[1]]. It wasn't/isn't all about oil...it was, and is all about oil and globalization aka americanization. So I won't be working on a story that isn't really a story at all; it's just a play; what the British call a "farse". Paulrevere2005 04:13, 24 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]
Okay -- thanks for the reply. I find it interesting that you credit the president with more intelligence than most of his critics. --Chiacomo (talk) 04:18, 24 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]
