NPOV Issues[edit]

We need to clean this up in accordiance with the NPOV policy. As it stands, there is too much reference to the bill being met with "a lot of opposition" and etc. For starters, if it passed - it means there was more support than opposition. Stating items like this pushes the POV.

Another big issue with this article is the following statement:
"For Bush, the accomplishment of CAFTA's passage strengthens his stand today, at least in America. What the world follows with, remains to be seen."

Adding NPOV tag. --Mrmiscellanious 20:17, 4 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

The issue is not whether Britain agrees with us, but the globe. We have time to work on this, however, there may be some better wordings to use.

I cleaned it up. Mrm, please review for consideration of NPOV tag removal. ----RossKoepkeTalk 20:30, 4 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I did a little more tinkering too. I'm no expert on US politics but I believe MrM's concerns on the votes were met, and I took out a little bit of what could've been opinion. I can tell it's ok now. Therefore I took the npov tag off. Obviously if MrM isn't happy he can put it back and discuss it further. Dan100 (Talk) 21:15, 4 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Looks a lot better, guys. Thanks for cleaning that up. --Mrmiscellanious 21:34, 4 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]
