Not once in the opening two paragraphs is the phrase "American Football" used. The sport is the what, and only those inside the U.S., or previously bombarded with this, will realise what it is. To the rest of the world, football is what Americans call soccer. --Brian McNeil / talk 13:48, 9 January 2009 (UTC)
- "college football" is used, stop being such a stickler
- College football sounds like soccer played by people in college to non-Americans. Blood Red Sandman (Talk) (Contribs) 18:54, 10 January 2009 (UTC)
- You guys can "be bold" as they say on the Wikimedia sites and add the word "American" in front of "college football".
