Type of rocket hit a U.S. installation[edit]

Rockets hit a U.S. installation. All media seems to be barred from saying the type of rocket. Can Wikinews create an article on the type of rocket? For example if an aircraft carrier shows up at a town near you, the media usually report on the type of aircraft carrier. The public has a right to know.

While wikinews can create an original report, its not likely that your request will be fulfilled. Because if the primary sources cannot get the information, neither will we. It is also not certain if the type of rocket is even newsworthy, warranting an article. Also, this has nothing to do with the article, I think you lost your way to the Nato story.
