The focal event of this article (the beginning of Generation Beta) just doesn't work. A focal event, to meet the newsworthiness standards, needs to be specific — a discrete event — relevant — notable enough for news coverage, basically — and fresh — to have happened recently enough. An event that's still in the future unfortunately just doesn't fall within the scope of what can even potentially be considered newsworthy. However, circumstances are further complicated by the fluidity in definitions of generations' scope in time; even had we reached the new year already, this article would best have its focus altered to something more specific. I'm not sure what that would necessarily look like, but seeing as all the sources you've cited draw heavily on McCrindle's blog post, and a couple of them draw on commentary from Dorsey, I suspect an interview with a specialist might be a good way to go about this. That, in turn, is something that can be quite difficult to pull off, and I wouldn't recommend it until you have more experience (unless, perhaps you have experience doing journalistic interviews IRL).
If possible, please address the above issues then resubmit the article for another review (by replacing {{tasks}} in the article with {{review}}). This talk page will be updated with subsequent reviews.
