This is fresh news and compiled from two different sources. Television coverage is citing the Post Dispatch Reporter. AP is citing Post Dispatch and is what will be carried on the web. Drew

Actually, as they were both from the Associated Press or Post Dispatch or vice-versa, whatever, it's just two different websites, same source. I found another that seems to be independent. --SVTCobra 03:05, 8 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

This is changing too quickly so I will update this story to final in the morning. Currently KSDK is reporting that the Mayor is in surgery with a shot to his head. Pleaseupdate the story this evening if you can. Drew —Preceding comment was added at 03:53, 8 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Updates

[edit]

Updated this morning to include names of the dead and the the photo included above. Reporting is original where citing the police spokeswoman I was on site last night and got the quotes directly. References to KSDK is there reporting and the original AP and NBC reporting are still accurate this morning. Drew 15:47, 8 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

I would assume that KSDK is a radio station, but perhaps you could clarify in the article, please? Wikidsoup 17:41, 8 February 2008 (UTC)Reply
I clarified that KSDK is an NBC affiliate. --SVTCobra 01:24, 9 February 2008 (UTC)Reply
