I think this is a little misleading[edit]

It sounds like (acording to this article) The BQ, Tried to put forward a motion for quebec to seperate from canada, and have more or less nothing to do with canada. Thats just not how the sources read to me (well the bloomingberg one slightly but still different). I was listening to CBC radio 1 (equivelent web page), and it sounded like the bloc put forward the same motion just left it ambiguous as to in or out of canada (and then later said currently in canada), but they didn't explicity say we want out. (in the motion, I know that the party is a seperatist party and wants out as general policy). Bawolff 04:46, 24 November 2006 (UTC)

Wow, this is confusing, acording to this, as far as I can tell, the BQ never made a motion, but was plaing to tommorow I think [1]

Harper did not call Quebec a nation within a nation[edit]

Harper is not calling Quebec a nation. He is calling the Quebecers a nation.

Harper also said that he is using the "cultural" and "sociological" sence of the word. Harper is refering to the people and culture in Quebec as a nation.

To add - he refered to "Les Quebecois" as a "nation within a united Canada" not the province of Quebec as it currently says in the article

Correction template has a misspelling[edit]

"sence" should be "sense". - Amgine | t 17:23, 8 March 2011 (UTC)
