Review of revision 1087802 [Passed][edit]

OR[edit]

I am observing the weather in my area along with the use of several weather tools. red-thunder. 20:31, 3 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Main page?[edit]

Given that the storm is no longer a Hurricane (Tropical Storm), not off the coast of North Carolina (Halifax, Nova Scotia), and the "current status" of the hurricane is about 36 hours old (http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/text/refresh/MIATCPAT2+shtml/030238.shtml?)... I wonder if this article should be either updated or removed from the Main Page? At very least the headline should be changed. Philippe (WMF) (talk) 19:43, 4 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

No and no. The policy on this is WN:ARCHIVE. (I am concerned that the updating of this article breached said policy) Blood Red Sandman (Talk) (Contribs) 20:17, 4 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Tbh, I'd stay we should rename more or less per WN:IAR. The NWS calls it Tropical Storm Earl, so at the least there should be a note in the lead and the main page should be fixed to say tropical storm. —Mikemoral♪♫ 00:03, 5 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
You are kidding, right? The archive policy is central to Wikinews. Blood Red Sandman (Talk) (Contribs) 00:25, 5 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
