Early discussion

[edit]

I couldn't hear one of the words in the second part of the interview. Please try and work out that. Also, please continue transferring the interview from audio to text --Anonymous101 12:17, 8 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Well, where is the video? --+Deprifry+ 13:52, 8 December 2007 (UTC)Reply
The video was uploaded to an external site, but it is a huge size. It can be found here: ftp://anonymous@207.44.136.30/ and password is empty (blank). It is licensed under cc-by-2.0 in an email to me. I can't work on it because I've moved behind a strong firewall and stuff, can't even download files. User:Bawolff uploaded it to Commons, and I've asked him to get a bigger version and split the video into severeral parts (originally 153 MB whereas the limit on Commons is 20MB). But I can't even watch it here so someone else would need to write the transcipt. --Steven Fruitsmaak (Reply) 15:56, 9 December 2007 (UTC)Reply
Sorry, User:Deprify, I forgot to link to the video --Anonymous101 10:44, 11 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

I am having difficulty using the ogg theora file as the quality is quite low.As stated above, it would be useful to split it into several parts and upload it to commons, although you couldn't put several parts in the article --Anonymous101 10:42, 11 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

A better quality when is coming soon. Note however i'm only refering to video quality, if you need better audio, try viewing the original, or download the ogg and play in a real media player. Bawolff 01:47, 12 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

OR notes

[edit]

Interview prepared on-wiki by myself with the help of Bertalan Mesko. We e-mailed the questions to Reggie's friend Lou who is the interviewer and cameraman. --Steven Fruitsmaak (Reply) 20:23, 11 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

transcript work

[edit]

I am not sure how successful FellowWikiNews' and my collaborative efforts have been. There may have been some instances of jumbling and getting things out-of-sequence. If looking at my efforts in isolation (some of which have not been added to the article) can be of any assistance, please look at User:SVTCobra/MySandbox. Good luck. I am done for the night on this project, btw. --SVTCobra 02:01, 12 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Blog

[edit]

Could someone please put this on the blog as well, thank you! --Steven Fruitsmaak (Reply) 23:45, 13 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

I just blogged it. FellowWiki Newsie 23:59, 13 December 2007 (UTC)Reply
Thank you! --Steven Fruitsmaak (Reply) 00:12, 14 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Sound quality

[edit]

There appears to be some concerns about sound quality, maybe someone with video editing skills might add subtitles for the questions, like we did in the John Keys interview? --Steven Fruitsmaak (Reply) 00:39, 14 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

There are subtitles for questions, the main problem is its just disconcerting only sort of hearing the questions. As well the subtitles only give the gist of the question, not the whole thing (but that may be a good thing). Bawolff 00:51, 14 December 2007 (UTC)Reply
