Talk:Judge rules against student blogger's First Amendment claim

There are some issues here that need addressed before this can be published.

  • Sources are dated after the article. If it hasn't been published before then I would look for a few more recent sources, add a detail or two, and bump up to a date that will appear on the front page.
  • Wikilinks, we need them - when published someone will probably come along and add them, but if you can DIY so much the better.
  • Clarification of who said what. Some of the sections which detail pronouncements from involved parties go on a bit too long without re-emphasis that this is their position and not that of Wikinews.

However, it is a very promising start for an article - or if the case is ongoing, for a series of articles. See Groklaw for how one person has pursued a principled legal fight's progress through the system. --Brian McNeil / talk 14:46, 10 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know why I dated it as Sept 4. That was just not me thinking. I'll clean up the other issues as well. Thanks. JoshuaZ 14:57, 10 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
