Talk:Luis Fortuño is elected new governor of Puerto Rico

[edit]The original contributor - a new Wikinewsie - left this for others to develop, so it is up to the rest of us to finish it if we want it published. I have to go off line now, but I think once the sources are formatted neatly it can be published, short as it is. --InfantGorilla (talk) 08:39, 8 November 2008 (UTC)
In the latest review, ShakataGaNai tagged the article "3 paragraphs, C/E". Do you need a third paragraph before you would publish it? Does C/E mean copyedit? It seems quite well written to me but I will give it a closer read. --InfantGorilla (talk) 15:23, 8 November 2008 (UTC)
This story is getting more stale by the minute, so rather than waiting until my next time online for a response, I gave it another review alongside my copyedit:
Revision 722796 of this article has been reviewed by InfantGorilla (talk · contribs) and has passed its review at 15:42, 8 November 2008 (UTC).
Comments by reviewer: This is a very interesting and well-written story. The English was probably fine, but I copy-edited it subtly to my tastes. It would benefit from a great deal of development to tell the whole story. I suggest you add to it in the next few hours. Or, if that is too hurried, follow it up in a day or two with "In depth: Puerto Rico's governor-elect 2008". The style guide is only a guideline, but it recommends "Most complete articles should have at least three paragraphs." It would be better in Wikinews Shorts, but there is no Wikinews Shorts today. Despite its very short length, it is complete, and its newsworthiness and timeliness are strong, and so I recommend it for publication. --InfantGorilla (talk) 15:42, 8 November 2008 (UTC) The reviewed revision should automatically have been edited by removing {{Review}} and adding {{Publish}} at the bottom, and the edit sighted; if this did not happen, it may be done manually by a reviewer. |

Above review is now stale, as another paragraph has been added that will need review when the review tag is added. --InfantGorilla (talk) 16:09, 8 November 2008 (UTC)
If all the changes are done, I think this article is ready to be reviewed. Can somebody else place the {{tl:review}} tag on the page and I'll go a ahead and review the article. --PatrickFlaherty (talk) 19:27, 8 November 2008 (UTC)
After I went off line yesterday, EJVargas left me a message asking me to place a review tag here. I just copy-edited the last paragraph. The last 2 sentences are based on a Spanish language source - my Spanish is very poor, but I read through the source, and a machine translation of it, which gives me enough confidence to place the publish tag on the article. Please feel free to revert it to {{develop}} if you disagree. --InfantGorilla (talk) 19:48, 9 November 2008 (UTC)
