[edit]

I hate to be the bearer of bad tidings, but the FireFox logo is trademarked and copyrighted, and is not released under the GFDL. And it has been brought up by the commons people, so it is likely to be deleted soon.

I'm not going to remove it yet, mostly because I have another fire to put out, but please be aware of this and do not link it on other articles. - Amgine/talk 19:56, 10 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I can throw up the non trademarked/copyrighted globe (the background). I don't know why you guys don't go through the proper channels and ask permission, but I can see that it shouldn't be on the commons (as those are all GFDL/CC). However, if you preserve the notice that it is in fact a trademark of MoFo, they're fine with it (IIRC). Oh, and 1.0.4 is supposed to come out today or tomorrow, they are really pushing it for soon. --Tom 20:07, 10 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]
