I added the paragraph that begins "Transnistria is a region ..." as a backgrounder for readers. Currently the third paragraph, it does not rely on the news stories we have in the sources. They are all regional and don't provide this background info (I guess they felt it common-knowledge). Rather, the information in it was gleaned from Wikipedia, which I listed in sources using the WP template. --SVTCobra 23:28, 4 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
