Unsourced information[edit]

The stuff about toy guns and candy cigarettes being banned in Canada and other countries seems to be unsourced, as well as the claim that they are being marketed in the US and other countries (although I happen to know that the latter is true). Can you find a source for that? It may be common knowledge to Canadians, but ... --SVTCobra 21:56, 23 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The Tobacca Act of 1997 was heavy reading. It must have it in there somewhere, as Candy cigarette also says it's banned in Canada, I'll accept it as fact.
Thanks for removing toy guns from banned items, as I found this story Oshawa looks to ban toy guns which leads me to believe that toy guns are not banned in Canada. --SVTCobra 00:43, 24 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
No sweat! It is a bit of a chore to get through the Act, so I quoted a relevant part. And you're right, toy guns are not banned in Canada. Cheers, Jcart1534 01:23, 24 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
