Misleading Title

[edit]

Can you change the title to something more, well concrete? Saying "No assassination plot against US presidential candidate Barack Obama" sounds as if there is NONE. I think something like: "Men arrested in Denver not involved in assassination plot". —Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.149.6.83 (talk) 12:32, 27 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Depends on your definition of plot

[edit]

A plot is a set of people with a desire who purposefully go about getting the means to carry out that desire. It seems clear that these men had the desire and some of the means (firearms), while they lacked other necessary means (place, etc.) and perhaps also the ability to purposefully acquire them (due to their drug-addled state).

I think the best fix is to give a source in the headline, thus avoiding taking a stand on the definition. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.106.170.103 (talk) 20:36, 28 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
