a drone is weaponless[edit]

The use of the word "drone" may not be appropriate in this context, since the name comes from the term for a (male) bee without sting. A drone in the military context is normally an unmanned, remote-controlled aeroplane used for target practice and does not carry any weapons - hence the name. 79.218.194.86 (talk) 10:15, 5 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
