Russian Defence Ministry said it has no plans to attack Tbilisi. "We do not have and have never had any plans to advance on Tbilisi," Interfax agency cites a source in Russian command. I'm removing this out-of-context sentence:
- The advancement of Russian troops follows the declaration by Russia that if Georgia refused to remove their troops from South Ossetia, that Russian units would move into Georgia.
It confuses South Ossetia with Abkhazia. The Russian ultimatum concerned Abkhazia. Lysy (talk) 08:11, 12 August 2008 (UTC)
Ceasefire
[edit]In one sentence the article says Russia rejected the ceasefire, and in the next one that Georgia did not observe it. How could a ceasefire be observer if one of the sides rejected it ? Lysy (talk) 08:38, 12 August 2008 (UTC)
