From Wikipedia[edit]

I'm probably going to disappoint you, but I will be removing many of the Wikipedia links when you're done editing... Wikinews articles are focused on the specific story, and are linked only where specifically relevant to the story.

Also, generally speaking Wikinews does not publish Wikipedia articles; even WP articles which are investigative reporting and not encyclopedic such as this one. This article looks good to me, and I have spoken with others in the Wikimedia Foundation about this edition, and the consensus seems to be that this is a reasonable exception, but the Wikinews community may have different opinions and I do not know what will happen with this copy/paste.

But I really appreciate the work you're doing on the article. - Amgine/talk 23:24, 27 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. And thanks for the info. I'll keep that in mind. Also, I'm used to writing for Wikipedia, obviously, so I may write in a structure/organization more fit for an encyclopedia than news. Any tips in this regard are appreciated. :-) Kevin Baastalk 04:24, 29 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, and I don't mind about the links to Wikipedia. Kevin Baastalk 04:25, 29 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]
