At a glance I don't think this is ready to publish. I fails to mention the location properly. What country (although I gather it is US) or what state is not mentioned explicitly. Both the title and the body of the article need to address this before publishing can be considered. --SVTCobra 00:10, 1 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Oops, totally forgot. How's it looking now? Blood Red Sandman (Talk) (Contribs) 01:10, 1 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Further comments[edit]

I did some copy-editing. Keep in mind, I did not read any of the sources, in order to remain objective. My remaining problems with this article are only two, before I think it can be publsihed:

  1. The West River was closed in both directions - how can you close a river, nevermind in both directions.
  2. A man who answered the telephone at Barrows & Fisher - something this specific needs to be credited to the source. Use something like "when Times Argus called Barrows & Fisher" or "WMUR reached an unidentified person at Barrows & Fisher". Of course, if you called Barrows & Fisher yourself, then credit Wikinews and add OR to the article and some notes about it on this talk page.

I hadn't realised you'd responded (it didn't show up on my watchlist due to the page move shortly after). I'll go sort those issues now. Blood Red Sandman (Talk) (Contribs) 17:43, 2 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
