Article date
[edit]I just want to state for the record that I believe that the date for this should be June 27. It was created from content at this page Wikinews Briefs: Paris Hilton out of jail; Senate resuming debate on immigration bill which was in fact written on June 26. However, at that stage it was not up to Wikinews publishable standards. By the time it was moved and published it was June 27 (UTC). I do not wish to debate it anyfurther with User:Kyalami. --SVTCobra 01:41, 27 June 2007 (UTC)
- In general, we support date bumps after any significant debate since this makes "filibusters" fairly ineffective --- we've had one ex-admin and some users who filibustered articles in the past. Don't worry about it if it's a format issue. But always apply & accept date bumps if your involved in a POV debate. We'd prefer late news dates over more accusations of bad faith editing & filibustering. Nyarlathotep 14:04, 27 June 2007 (UTC)
