His testimony closely follows claims by Republicans that Rove did not know that Wilson's wife, Valerie Plame, was an undercover CIA agent when he disclosed her identity to Cooper.

This testimony did not occur before the Supreme Court. It occured before a grand jury.

Suggestion, when I looked at this story at its earlier inception, I loved the ammendment being rejected part. But didn't feel as though the Rove stuff was a fit. Kevin, let's take that out and move the Rove stuff somewhere else to merge with changes needed for The Wilson fire Rove story. -Edbrown05 18:32, 15 July 2005 (UTC)
- I now Wilson fire Rove headline needs changed, but the statistics are good in that story. This recent blast out the grand jury non-public hearings screwed it all up. -Edbrown05 18:36, 15 July 2005 (UTC)
Title
[edit]Am I the only one who thinks the title should be changed? "GOP rejects bill to protect classified information" sounds accusatory to me, and it's sort of tangential to the point, which is the ongoing controversy over Rove. Maybe something like "Senate debates Rove and intelligence access" or something? --Slowking Man 23:29, 15 July 2005 (UTC)
- That makes sense. Dan100 (Talk) 23:52, 15 July 2005 (UTC)
