Talk:Weev iPad hacking conviction overturned

[edit]Can the when be added to the lede? --LauraHale (talk) 13:33, 12 April 2014 (UTC)
- I hope to get to this in an hour or so, unless somebody beats me there. One sentence needs recast. "The notorious hacker and self-described "troll", along with co-defendant Daniel Spitler (who pled guilty), was convicted by federal jury in November 2012 by a New Jersey court under the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act, with counts of conspiracy and identify theft." The way that reads, Spitler was convicted both by jury trial and by his own plea. [Not actually impossible if he admitted some charges and denied others, but still.] BRS (Talk) (Contribs) 15:00, 12 April 2014 (UTC)

Revision 2543879 of this article has been reviewed by Blood Red Sandman (talk · contribs) and has passed its review at 17:11, 12 April 2014 (UTC).
Comments by reviewer: I'm strongly reminded of the equally absurd jurisdictional issues surrounding libelous statements online in Englandshire and Walesland. The reviewed revision should automatically have been edited by removing {{Review}} and adding {{Publish}} at the bottom, and the edit sighted; if this did not happen, it may be done manually by a reviewer. |
