Talk:Wikinews investigates the reconstruction of Pichilemu, Chile after February earthquake
Add topicOR
[edit]Today, I got access to the new kiosk designs by the Municipality of Pichilemu. Went to talk with a merchant called Alejandro Mella, who had a long talk with me. Will post more information and upload images shortly. --Diego Grez return fire 02:19, 23 October 2010 (UTC)
-
Alejandro Mella, who did not want to be photographed directly.
-
Construction of the new kiosks in the Las Terrazas beach. Only 6 kiosks have been constructed in the town.
-
Picture of a finished kiosk with the new design
-
From the official plans/designs of the kiosks by the Municipality of Pichilemu.
-
A photocopy given to me by Alejandro Mella, in which he investigated the cochayuyo, which made him known as the King of the Cochayuyo.
I recorded like a minute or two of my talk with Mr. Mella, I didn't notice it was not recording, because it was a long talk, but I remember what he said. If needed, will upload the recording somewhere. Diego Grez return fire 15:16, 23 October 2010 (UTC)

Title and lead
[edit]I'm a little worried about the title. I originally thought of creating an article only for the kiosks' news, but it seems I'm doing an "in depth" investigation of the Feb 27 earthquake, its consecuences and the reconstruction. Don't think it is a bit stale, because it will contain (probably) a further interview with the Mayor of the city Roberto Cordova and with merchant Alejandro Mella. --Diego Grez return fire 16:31, 23 October 2010 (UTC)
