Angle paragraph
[edit]I'm having a bit of a difficult time trying to figure out how the paragraph on Angle connects to the story on the women being pressured into abortions. Can someone explain why it's there? It doesn't seem to have anything to do with the main point. Thanks, Either way (talk) 03:29, 15 June 2010 (UTC)
- It is recent news within the same general topic, from a pro life candidate that has expressed strong views against abortion. -- Cirt (talk) 03:31, 15 June 2010 (UTC)
- I don't think it really belongs here, though. It's too much of a stretch of a connection, in my opinion. It really seems out of place when the main focus is the events that were taking places in the 1990's being revealed in Florida. Either way (talk) 03:34, 15 June 2010 (UTC)
- Respectfully disagree. News articles on a topic often have a paragraph or two of note, discussing other relevant newsworthy items that occurred within the same timeframe on the same exact topic. -- Cirt (talk) 03:36, 15 June 2010 (UTC)

- I really agree with Either Way; the article is not about Angle, it's about Scientology and abortion. If every single candidate who has received money from an organization is talked about whenever the organization is, news would be ridiculous. 76.232.77.196 (talk) 16:23, 19 June 2010 (UTC)
- The info is directly relevant to the topic and the article. Sharron Angle has supported a group with ties to the Scientology organization, and happens to also have viewpoints on abortion directly contradicting those recounted in this article. -- Cirt (talk) 17:09, 19 June 2010 (UTC)
