White iPad

What is all this fuss about the white iPhone/iPad? It only means longer waiting periods if you don't want a particular color. Why white? Marcus Qwertyus (talk) 01:16, 3 March 2011 (UTC)

I would prefer dark blue, but Apple doesn't have much for customisation themselves.

The white iPad 2 will be available immediately on March 11th, there won't be a wait like there was for the iPhone 4.

Believe it or not, the delay was caused by the inadvertent effect the white color had on the proximity sensor which the iPad doesn't have. Many of the parts used were also of inferior quality on the white iPhone.
