How wise?

I don't see what there is to gain by returning to a fascist country.

I doubt that the USA will even accept(or honour if it does accept) his proposal. Remember about the Guatamano Bay? Seriously , USA is snoopy and interfering.

I know someone who, visiting England a few years after WWII, heard from a Londoner about what it was like in London during the Blitz and asked why they'd stayed in London if it was so bad. They were (so they recounted to me) immediately aware of having said something wrong. The Londoner's reply was, simply, "It's where we lived."
