We need more
Interestingly, one of my colleagues at work married her partner in New York state when same-sex marriage was, previously, legal.
When they revoked the law, her marriage was no longer recognised; she was deemed to have overstayed her visa by years and, was arrested by immigration and spent nine months in jail. Yes, they went to the house where she lived with her partner and took her out, hands handcuffed behind her back, between two officers making sure her feet didn't touch the ground.
That's the ugly face of people who're against gay marriage.
I prefer to see it as the ugly face of people who think they can flaunt the immigration laws of this country. You are not special because you are gay. Laws still apply to you. Enjoy living in whatever third-world hellhole you belong in. 24.159.22.26 (talk) 18:09, 27 June 2011 (UTC)
You're an arse. Get back under your bridge, troll.
