Was President Obama sincere in his promise to rid themilitary of Don't Ask Don't tell? There was no reason for him to order the Attorney General to appeal the decision of federal Judge Virginia Phillps which made the law unconstitutional. It was no longer necessary to repeal the law, the Court did it for him. It is reached a point with President Obama shere one really doesn't know where he stands on anything. His words have become beautiful but meaningless, his actions confusing. If he like the job, and wants to be re-elected in 2012, he'd best return return to, and make the policies of his 2008 campaign the actions of his administration in 2011 and 2012. Perhaps he has already decided that he wants no more than one term and would enjoy retiring as President with all its benefits.
